Basing on our artist, Mary Yu’s watercolor painting, we created the signature Shrimp Brooch for our runway show in year 2021. The 3-dimensional craftsmanship shows a perfect shrimp image in Mary’s painting. ‘Shrimp’ symbolize long-term wealth, auspicious and safe.
Shrimps have a unique body shape; it has many segments similar to bamboo. Although they are curvy, they are incredibly flexible and can move smoothly.
The unique body shape of shrimps symbolises a person’s life will go well, rise steadily, and be prosperous step by step.
